What are some of your hobbies?
Hiking, MTB-XC, running, and exploring. Also, I like to talk and share my experiences in public.

So why are you doing the Great Western Loop?
I came to US to practice a sport that in Mexico does not exist: the Thru-hike. When I did it for the first time (a thru-hike)I found my passion. Every time I return to Mexico, I immediately start thinking about hiking again. So, I’m hoping this challenge will teach me more about this sport (hiking) and will give me more experience for my exploration of Mexico.

What do you think will get you to the end?
My determination.

What do you want to be remembered for?
My perseverance and enthusiasm for doing challenging activities.

How would your parents describe you?
Independent – I fight for what I want.

What’s your luxury item?
My Cookset.

Who is the person you look up to the most and why?
My greatest inspiration is my dad. During his time as an alpinist he helped many people get away from their addiction to drugs. He taught me to respect the mountains, because the mountains save lives.

Three words to describe yourself?
Honest, sincere, intelligent.

Describe your perfect day on trail?
A hot walk in large canyons, surrounded by rivers to be able to jump into the water.

What would be the reason for you NOT to finish?
If I could not finish it would be because they did not give me permission to stay longer in US.
