What are some of your hobbies?
Rock climbing, picking up trash, sailing, and backpacking.

So why are you doing the Great Western Loop?
Life is just one big adventure . . . so have fun while you can!

What do you think will get you to the end?
My legs, but if not, maybe some sweet bionic legs.

What do you want to be remembered for?
Trying to make the world a better place.

How would your parents describe you?
As easily distracted and . . .

What’s your luxury item?
My frisbee.

Who is the person you look up to the most and why?
My parents, because they’re so caring and nurturing. But also my best friend, who has had cancer three times but refuses to quit even that it has been so hard sometimes.

Three words to describe yourself?
Distractible, hard-working, and caring.

Describe your perfect day on trail?
Town day! Light packs, a good meal, and a cold shower beer!

What would be the reason for you NOT to finish?
Coolers . . . I got injured from one last year on trail, so I’ll be on the look out this time around.
